Vaccination: Depends on where in Thailand you want to go, but it is not necessary to get malaria profylax
or vaccination for yellow fever when visiting Phuket.
Flying: Approximately 10 hours from Europe to Bangkok, and 1 hour from Bangkok to Phuket.
Money/Passport/Visa: The currency here in Thailand is Thai Baht. 1 Euro is approx. 50 Baht. Most credit cards are accepted for payment. In addition, there are ATMs and exchange offices in almost every corner. The length of your allowable stay depends on what country you come from. Ask the Thai Embassy at the place where you live.
Doctors/Illness/Insurance: There are many doctors in Phuket, and the hospitals meet a very high standard. If you have Travel Insurance, you will get your money refunded if you need to see a doctor. Just remember to get a receipt.
Weather: Hot all year around, November to May is dry and not much rain, July to October hot, but with some rain.
